MOSCOW/WASHINGTON (Reuters) -American journalist Evan Gershkovich, who was arrested and charged with espionage in Russia final week, has appealed towards his pre-trial detention by way of his legal professionals, as Washington mentioned it was “pushing arduous” to safe his launch.
A Moscow court docket final Thursday remanded the Wall Road Journal reporter in pre-trial detention till Might 29 on prices that carry a jail time period of as much as 20 years.
